td 42 pump leak

Hey guys noticed that my injector pump has started to leak cant see where from though any ideas? or is this a common thing? thanks in advance Goods

the material used in the O rings is not up to todays diesel.

new seals should fix it.

cheers any ideas on how much a seal kit is and how much to get done bris area any recommendations?

IIRC, if it's leaking from the top shaft area = a minor seal replacement should stop it.

if it's leaking from the bottom area I think your up for $$$$$

I got quoted about $700 in sydney, and that was for me to remove and take it in.

If its just that cap with two bolts on the lower drivers side of the pump just replace it and keep going. Thats what mine was, $1 and 10000ks later still dry.
