Same deal as why they advertise Chad Reed or any of the USA imports for SuperX adverts -

I'd think it was smart advertising for the common 4B fan... Just my 2c

Yer, Just a question.

Are you guys Sponsering it at all? Coming down for the weekend again?

I was up their this morning , their were some breakages/ small problems with the buggies/ trucks but nothing to bad.
Lawrie broke his rear pinion with no spare, Rhett had a mishap with the kingpin bearing i think it was, snake's buggy and DGR's buggy both had crank angle sensor issues.
It looked like a few of the other guys some minor problems but i am not sure what was wrong as i had no time to check it out.

The racing was ok when i left but the courses were certainly different than i had imagined.

yep, i would agree with that. they weren't good or bad, just different to what was expected.

I was expecting higher speeds and longer straight sections.

It was just different from what i expected when i heard about the high speed stage , i imagined the speed event to be a real speed event like cruiser park has and that is 120 klm per hour and faster,( but i suppose it is different terrain) this event was nothing that got me excited as a spectator as speeds would not have been anywhere near that, probably averaging 30klms but saying that I am not saying it was good or bad by any means, just not what I was expecting from how it was talked up from certain people.
Hopefully 2011 will be faster in the speed stages. ;)
Marshalling and management seem very good, and congrats to Scenic rim for a job well done.
Congratulations to whoever the winners are !

Went out last night and wached the stages under lights, Cal's Creek was great to watch at night and Snake racing seemed to just walk it was a great drive on some nee undrivable rock steps. Carnage was everywhere Michael (2evil) rear steer, Matt(low range off road) rear shaft and uni, DGR rear pinion. Several near rollovers from every competitor and the best save of the night was OPW where Pete got it in reverse in mid air to save a very expensive repair, top driving by all. Scenic Rim again steped up and I'm sure next year will be another big improvement as they refine the entertainment.

Hope all the drivers had fun too will be back next year
