350 chev conversion on 1980 hilux

hey i got a 1980 hilux a cupple of weeks ago its got a 3half" lift and 32" muddies soon to be 35"s but its only got a shitty 4cyl 4 speed i wanna put a 350 chev in it dos anyone know how to and where to get the engine????

hey mate ive got an 82 hilux with a worked 350 turbo 400 and 9 inch rear 4 sale 4 2800 obut make an offer need it gone it was engneered but has no rego it needs a new body so would make a perfect donnor for everything u need its in newcastle

i lived in hervey bay for a bit. also why are you on here if your smashed? to get a 350, just go see the wreckers out along the road that takes you from urangun to the river heads turn off, they will help. or the wreckers out in the industrial estate near the go kart track. can you weld in engine mounts? etc and how much money do you have. also is a 350 the best engine for the price? you can get a newer 5 litre for dirt cheap, reliable, EFI, choice of gearboxes and easy conversion to do. just food for thaught. .................. or a 1UZ
