3-4" lift
Hey guys I have a fj60 and. I think it is standard height but aftermarket springs and shocks cause it flex's really well but I want to lift her about 3-4" and not sure what to do as I don't have thousands to spend so any advice would be appreciated And I don't care if it is road legal or not as it is only driven on the road to get from one track to another so please kno chatter about safety or roc stuff I kno the rules so please just advice on lifting my 60 thanks guys

This would be a terrible kit to own , looking at it ,it has 11 rear leaves and 7 front leaves, you could only drive that on bitumin , just make sure you put your kidney belt on and dont ever drive offroad without having a chiropractor as a friend.hulsty wrote:If you want big left go spring over. A better bolt on option would be 2 inch spring and 2 inch body lift. That will run 35 in tyres easy enough. A bit of trimming and bush panel work you could get 37's under there. It's a combination that works well (with lockers). Otherwise you have to look at spring over or coil spring/link conversions to get it working really good.
The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.

A spring over may catch you out in the future with legalities but no one knows for sure what is going on with DOT . ( extended shackles are also illegal but they are just bolt on, where a spring over is not that simple to just unbolt.

thanks for the input guys. Any sugestions on were to get a spring over done on the gold coast. Or a good lift kit
