Ive had this problem since i bought the truck, When i use the right indicator the switch wont turn off automaticly when i turn the wheel back. The left one operates no problems. Ive seen the indicator switches on ebay for $60ish and im worried these will be cheap crap that wont last long, so im wondering if anyone has had this problem and has fixed it theirselves?
Thanks for your time

Re: 99 Holden Rodeo - Indicator switch wont turn off by itse
wouldn't it be under the steering wheel, some sort of spring loaded mechanism?
never pulled the wheel off my old rodeo but i would suggest looking there first

Yes it's usually a spring loaded cam under the wheel. If the steering wheel was off at some point for whatever reason the person doing it may have not lined it up properly when re installing it.Havabigjuan wrote:wouldn't it be under the steering wheel, some sort of spring loaded mechanism?

The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.

Thanks for the advice, ill have to pull the wheel off and have a look, ive also been told that inside the indicator assembly there is a nylon cam with two pins on it to turn it off and these are broken, ill have to have a look for myself and report back.
Thanks again
