Coodos for driving the hard line though.

2nd/ RockRash racing Dave Camp,
3rd/ OPW - Pete Antunac ,

(The only finishers).

2nd/ Bruce Fraser,
3rd/ Glenn Buttigieg.

Thanks for the weekend

Sorry to say from my experience it was all very unorganized (as a spectator) at times it was very difficult to even see the guys in action. Probably just bad luck but heard plenty of the same feedback.

I'm sure it's not an easy task to organize etc but that's my 2c GL next year guys.

Sorry ppl. I haven't got much in the way of pics. Just some of my buggy before the comp and after. These, plus a quick trip report can be found on my buildup thread on the Locktup 4x4 forum

As a competitor, the event was very enjoyable. It had a different style to anything that I've ever competed in previously and I'd recommend it to other competitors.

Nice line Rhett - I'd blame the co-driver for that one! No wonder those knuckle studs broke! :finger:

By the look of the vise grips on the break line that is after they broke, I think I was just looking for the start of the next track. besides I get better fuel economy if I keep the wheels off the ground :finger:

It definately does look like a ton of fun, but unfortunately it also looks like a lot more than my car is capable of at any kind of pace.

From what i've heard of the event it sounds a lot more like a TT or Toperi style event/terrain than a real mixed speed/crawling course. I know mine would pick up a fair amount of time on a course that would allow real speeds to offset it's lack of ability on the twisty stuff. Nonetheless i can't wait for the next one this year to come as a spectator if work allows it.
