Why do the brackets that people attach their control arms to on the diffs always look so ugly? Has anyone got some nice looking ones?

I'm sure that the welding is sturdy and all that sort of stuff - but i just mean that they get a round axel tube and then weld on all sorts of ugly shapes to make the brackets to run the rest of the setup off of...

Check out Joey's shock mounts - they are quite pleasing to the eye - rather than looking crappy and ruff.

I guess that they are more form follws function kinda guys.
Most of em you see are home made, and therefor you only have to please yourself, to do that you want to spend as little time as possibel in the garage and as much time as possible on the trail .. less time spent making it "pretty" and more on making it durable adds up to less downtime ..

Also it often needs to be done (the weird looking brackets etc) to allow you to add in the needed links and the proper geometery on them ...

I am just babbling ... ;) so I will shut up ...
