Do you want a 'freshen up' for recreational or competition use?
Just are you going to drill and tap the brakeshaft? Brace the spool?
There's a few good mods that will improve the life of your winch.
Brent - from Total Offroad in Mackay or Event Organiser of WTC would also be a knowledgable man to ask - they build HiMounts to full comp specs - air freespool and multiple-motored...
Or for the ultimate in Competition winches have you seen the Russtuff SupaLowMounts out of Rockhampton?
GigglePins can't touch them!!
But this may all be off topic if your just after a standard rebuild...
In which case I'd search the net and do it yourself!
Get a schematic and it's all very straight forward!
Cheers
