GQ front hub seal

Post by hokey »

hey guys,

can anyone tell me which way the front hub seal goes? i'm talking the big seal that is knocked into the back of the hub sealing the wheels bearings.

should it be flat side to diff or bearings? i've got a pic on my phone but it'll be a massive fk around to get it on the net :x :x

i did wheel bearing before cup weekend and was running 10 inch wide wheels and bearings came loose. wasn't sure if it was because i put seal in wrong way, bearings weren't seated properly or my wheels are waayyy too awesome for nissans bearing lock nut setup :P

thanks for you help

Its flat side to bearings. The tapered side must seal to the back of the stub axle. Cheers Loz.
