Maxxis Bighorn 764's

Post by buddha »

I am trying to find a tyre shop that has acccess to Maxxis Bighorn 764's. My mate down here at Bob Jane says he hasnt got any but can order them in a 31 or 30", and doesnt know when larger sizes will be available. Im looking for a shop that can get them in 33's. Has anybody had any luck getting them in the larger sizes?

I rang about 5 places locally last week chasing them in a 285/75/16. The couple of people that said they could get the 764's could only get them in smaller sizes and couldn't tell me when they would be available in bigger sizes. so settled for the old pattern. Was really keen to try the new ones and will be keeping an eye on reviews though

pretty sure only sizes in australia right now are:
30 9.5 R 15
31 10.5 R 15
245 75 R 16
265 75 R 16

I have found no difference in the new V old.
Same wear rate, bag out identical, same road noise.

Not sure what the big thing is about the new ones, but i am yet to find it.
