Re: how do iget a v6 hilux registed
Don't buy it.
I put a commodore motor in a hilux about 10 years ago and hated it.
Was woeful on fuel and always ran hot.
Sold it to some young sucker
It was 10 years ago so things may have changed. But in NSW it didn't need engineering
as hilux's allready had V6s from factory, so was an approved conversion

emissions report, engineers report - most engineers dont like to come in at the end - they like to be involved from the start.xj33 wrote:do you know what needs to be done to get it complianced?? ,and i didnt mean to do 3 threads i just tried to fix a spelling mistake and ended up with 3 threads some howtoaddog wrote:Yes it would need to be complianced.

Re: how do iget a v6 hilux registed
how much does it usally cost to get a engineers report if every thing is done right?
Re: how do iget a v6 hilux registed
realistically the engineer is going to need to see the truck and quote you.xj33 wrote:how much does it usally cost to get a engineers report if every thing is done right?
Otherwise how long is a piece of string if he wants something changed?
the rates they charge vary as well...
