has any one fitted one of these into a Gu patrol, seems as though the motor is going to hit the chassis rail. Just wondering what people have done.

A mate sells these winches and no they dont fit in the arb bar in a patrol.
Another mate had to get a custom bar made with a hole cut into the side of his mounts so the motor could slide through it

has anyone tried lifting it up about 2 inches so it sits above the chassis rail? seems like the easiest thing to me. just wnat to know what other people have done
