just wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between body mounts on a gq wagon chassis to a gu ute cab?

no differance the cab will fit straight on as the chassis from GQ to GU is the same will just need to cut the inner front wheel well to fit the shock tower in i think no big deal im looking at doing the same conversion just trying to find a cab

i looked into it a while ago and qld transport and local mod plate machanic all said nope due to yur car wouldnt meet the saftey standards of the cab when it was fitted to the gu. any1 dwn brissy way mod plateing this?
Blown ls1 GQ winch truck. and GU tow car / daily

in nsw u can fit them as the GU cab have a better adr rating and are safer then the gq body
