NH Transfer Case

Post by Macca413 »

Hey There, Has anyone looked at putting a different type of transfer in a Paj? I keep stretching the chains, I did one before I got the reduction gears put in and another after the gears were done. I'm over pulling the case out and in. Anyone got any ideas?

Hey Macca, can i ask what symptoms you are having with a stretched chain? I have a nasty vibration on takeoff only that i'm thinking may be a crook chain.

Just the usual clunking from the transfer when in 4wd, mainly when you hop on and off the gas you can hear it slapping around but only in 4wd.

Nastly vibration on take off sounds like uni's or a bush on the output of the transfer case.
