Anyone else expereinced this? The DS rear corner (closest to the windscreen) is now sitting slightly high, and as I try to open the bonnet, the corner drops and catches the cowler vent near the wiper, making it a 2 man job to open the damn thing.
I haven't hit anything, it's been in the shed for weeks coz of my crook back. Found the problem when I tried to check under the bonnet before moving it.
It's a 91 model, <250k. I can't see any cracks around the body mounts or other obvious cause

80 series bonnet won't open

I got called to the Transport yard one day to retrieve a Hilux with a damaged bonnet. It seems a drunken Driver had attempted to open the bonnet with a forklift late at night, after failing to figure out how the catch worked....
I was guessing a bent hinge or wear in the mount.
