already looked in the bible but couldn't find what we were after.
trying to fix an ac fault in a friends hilux.fans working, ac switch has power in and out. no
power to compressor and can't find location of ac low pressure switch. if anyone can help
with the location of pressure switch and/or wiring diagram would be a great help.

The ac pressure switch is inside the ac box that's behind the glove box. The pressure switch doesnt allow the compressor to turn on if the gas in the system is low.

Yeah that's what ended up being the problem, out of gas. It's off to get checked out but it's also an R12 system so it will need retrofitting for R134A gas which I imagine isn't cheap.

get a r134 compressor from the wreakers. Get the o rings changed and then regassed. Its not to hard. You may need to get the hoses that run from the compressor to the condensor and firewall as they may be differant on the r134 compressor. Otherwise ring around alot of auto elecs still have r12 gas.
