Maverick paint problem
Maverick paint problem
Ok, I’ve recently chopped the rear quarters on my Mav however I’m having a hard time finding a touch up paint to match! The car is has that lovely two tone effect (white/ grey) but neither repco, autobarn or super cheap have anything that resembles that grey/ gun metal color! If anyone knows where I can score some paint I’d be most appreciative!
Re: Maverick paint problem
Go to a proper auto paint shop and get them to mix something up.

Re: Maverick paint problem
I was hoping for something a little more 'readily available' but I think your onto a winner. I just wish Holts would remember the vintage cars!
Re: Maverick paint problem
Problem sorted!
I took your advise Hulsty and actually found a local auto paint shop (brilliant!). Two aersol cans of colour 400g each (white & Grey) $40 & one can of clear coat $11.
Now to finish off the job! Thanks!
