rod baker wrote:WOW now thats flex and ive not heard of fox air shox before out of curiosity what are they worth
Are you serious?
You've been spouting off in here with an attitude like a $2 whore and you have never heard of Fox shocks?AWESOMETop right hand corner of the screen is the search button. Type Fox shocks in there and in Google. Then join http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and search the people that have been aforementioned.
As for the cost, that depends where you get them. Try locktup or ABT4x4 for pricing, but they range from $400 to $1500 each depending on how deep your pockets are and how cool you want to be.
Hey This thread is starting to smell a bit like a big christmas
Maybe i should stop wasting my time on this and actual go work on my truggy LOL

Well there is the most sensitive person on Outers.
Can I suggest that you're probably better off asking the same question on Pirate4x4 if you're after a sensible response. They're not as in your face as here.

Agreed, I think this is the perfect time to hear from BOR on their latest offerings. I heard there was some good stuff coming in the pipeline...
BOR???
british off road???
are you taking the piss or are they doing aftermarket stuff???
No not British Off Road. The other BOR, a subsidiary of Bamache Holdings Pty Ltd Inc. There shit is stronger than scaffold pipe and that's some strong sheeeeet!
hissan wrote:But his suspension idea does give good flex..
I dont think he would have got any extra flex over the standard setups.
The front RA geometry with holey bushes will max out (utilise is probably the better word) 12" travel shocks.
The rear geometry will utilise 14" travel shocks (assuming you can get the shock to fit without damaging it).
With minor modification you can utilise a full 16" of travel with the rear aframe.
Grovers truck is proof that the rear aframe is more then adequate to do so.
Without going to full custom links and airshocks/coilovers how much more flex do you think is obtainable?
