Converting Lightforce Genesis to HID

Guys please forgive me if my searching has missed this but has anyone got any details on converting the Genesis to HID. Do they require a bulb adaptor like the other Lightforce range or is there a direct fit bulb.

I know there are probably purpose made kits for these but my budget does not extend that far. I'm only interested at this stage to know if I can do it myself, otherwise I will be heading down the path of a cheaper llight to convert or some of the generic Chinese HID lights. Some of these can;t be too bad if many of the name players are selling them with warranty. The Rugged Ridge 7" sold in the US and by various Aussie Jeeps specialists come to mind to support them.

Anyway my main question at this stage relates to what sort of money I can get my hands on some Genesis and convert and based on that I will work my way down the quality list. It appears that most if not all other brands can be converted straight plug and play but all Lightforce require a bulb adaptor.

genesis are HID arent they? thats the point of bringing out the new range

No they are available in both HID and conventional hologen.
