carby problems
carby problems
i have a g16a in my sierra and the carby is giving me trouble it is idling rough and sometimes when u pull up at intersections it will cut out but not always i have checked all the vacuum lines and cant find any leaks any help would be good thanks

Sounds like the idle jet is partiall blocked.

I've been having the same issue, I thought the same thing: idle jet, I cleaned out the whole thing really well and it looks ok, but its still wont idle right, Suziworld mechanic recons it needs a proper reco. Im going to try another carby.

hey mate i had the same problem with my carby on my g13b wat had happed was the carby was suckin air from the manifold side in so when i put a new gasket kit in it she back to normal now. good luck mate
