No performance gains whatsoever. Just a noise thing.

Purpose of a screamer pipe is to stop waste gate gasses mixing with exhaust gas exiting the exhaust wheel - This allows for better flow as the 2 gasses don't clash.

Unless you have eleventy six billion horsepower, I wouldn't bother.

I had a straight 3" dump pipe made for mine. It did the trick but the screamer pipe sounds shit hot on diesel with a decent exhaust.

i think you're talking about a split dump pipe hear which doesn't necessarily mean a screamer. afaik splut dumps on turbo's that aren't designed for them aren't the best as they never really seal too well.

it can still be a split dump and not be a screamer. depends if the wastegate pipe is plumbed back into the exhaust or just goes to atmosphere in the case of a screamer

probably more effort than it's worth on an internally gated turbo but for a turbo where external gate is required it's much easy just to run it completely seperate of the exhaust.

on the right car screamer pipes sound amazing

screamer pipe is simply an open pipe straight o air off the back of the waste gate. idea being that when you boot it and get high enough boost the waste gate open it makes lots of noise.
now a lot of diesels will sit at cruise with enough boost that the waste gate is partly open, so it will be making lots of noise all the time.
could you stand the racket all day long ?? i don't think so !

As Hiy60 pointed out. You are driving a foorby. Not a ricer.
They are a waste of time on a diesel that makes less power than the average 2.Ol ricer engine.
