I've had one out of a FZJ80 and put it into a HDJ80 they were the same box! I'm not to sure wether a HZJ has the same box or not.

1HZ has differnt input shaft splines.

as far as I know, the 1HD-T and petrol model gearboxes are interchangeable, but not the 1HZ
