Replacing wiper motor

Post by shortgq »

G'day all,

Might have an opportunity at a cheap 95/96 sierra two door softtop.

Apparently the wiper motor is dead and needs replacing. Apparently the owner was quoted $1k as the dash needs to be removed/replaced to do the job. Is this correct? If so, how hard it it? Surely a suk is that simple!

Also, what other things mught present on a car of about 80k? Don't think its seen much hard (beach or bush) work but probably a little neglected!

Cheers!!

yeah, in the coliys the widscreen doesnt fold down, makes it a much much bigger job. but all you need is some time and the manual and its not hard to take out the dash.

80,000 96 model, practially brand new!
