Where to get air shocks charged?

Anyone know of or recommend somewhere on the Sunshine Coast to get a pair of air shocks charged with nitrogen???

Also do air shocks need to be run with bump stops?
I see a lot of buggys with no bumps..

Mates get theres charged at a Bob Jane T-Mart for $5-10 each.

Theres a place in beerwah that does it for $10 a shock. Will fill you in next time your around.

no bumps are fine for buggys because they dont harshly bottom the shock, if you plan on jumping, going fast, or even medium speed then, bumps are a good idea, or even a must depending on the use of the truck / buggy

I have charged mine with co2 a few times.
Air up made me a charging chuck. If you are really stuck let me know.
My gear is in storage though so it will take some digging!

we ran Co2 in our airshocks swell using the Air-Up system, worked a treat!

as for bumpstops, no, basically the oil in the shock acts as a bumpstop by hydraulic locking at full compression. but this was all for low speed, low weight stuff, not jumps etc.

You are a 'Design Fab' shop/business. Surely this means you have a welder and gas. Why not just get the Nitrogen from your Gas supplier?

I don't understand why people buy high quality shocks if they are going to decrease the performance of them by using a gas that is not recommended and not stable for use in a shock. You save yourself $20 after spending $1,000 or more and risk damaging the internals of your shock. Did you even make sure the Co2 you used had all moisture removed?

I'm not a shop/store but I have a gas account for my welding. It only costs a few extra bucks to go pick up a bottle of Nitrogen. The extra piece of mind that there will be no internal corrosion and that my shocks performance is optimised makes it worth it.

When I get back home to Australia I will be happy to help out anyone by filling your shocks with Nitrogen when I have it available at my place.

We used this system at the time as it was more accessable for us during competitions as we had the C02 system on board the vehicle.
and yes it was a dry system.

Meh, air is 80% nitrogen anyway just use compressed air

Any motorbike repair shop can charge them as they have nitro for filling bike shocks.
