4jB1t Injector pump

Post by Burndog »

I have a 2000 model rodeo with the 4jb1t motor . However the injector pump needs rebuilding and I find that it is the import belt driven pump one . Are there any issues with this one and can I get the pump modified for a little more preformance? It's a tad gutless. Thanks

That is a bit odd, i thought all rodeos where gear driven. I have a Isuzu MU with 4jb1-t that is belt driven, mine is a complete rebuilt motor pump was checked and all fine, they are not a quick motor. They are a pull all day motor by the feel of it.

Talk to a deisel pump specialist about the pump and mods, im sure they can do some mods to them.

Mark.
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)
