Can anyone clear up for me . Are. The 2006 4x4 hilux body shells different
To the 4x2 shell. Have a damaged 4x4 shell needs replacing is it
Possible to swap with 2wd one .as have found one cheap
extra cab 80
6"s up
locked both ends
35 claws

im guessing all you need to do is cut out for the transfer selecter

Maybe different guards too.

From what Ive read, the 2wd body shells are the same as the 4wd shells, thats in the LN106s, and the same thing with the LN65s.
Its just different guards and a hole for the transfer stick.

put 4wd gaurds on a 2wd [doing a low lux up ] and found the front guards where the parker/ indicator lights are , are different
they are angled differently between 4wd and 2wd
