Rollbar WT

Post by Stackson45 »

Howdy all,

I'll admit i didn't search, but i promise i will later ;)
I'm looking at building a 3.5" or 4" Rollbar for my ute, and wondering what wall thickness material peolpe have used with pipe around that size??
I'm thinking either 2.6 or 3.2mm, more so to reduce weight. even the 2.6 is 6.3kg/m. Only using roughly 8m though, so that's not too bad i guess, on an alloy tray.
I built a rollbar/exo out of 32NB 3.2WT, but after seeing a few 3.5" and 4" Rollbars (75 series utes) the 40mm (32NB) just doesn't look the part...

I'll put some pics of my current barwork on here over the weekend, and any pics of 75's with rollbars would be appreciated...

Cheers
Rob
