Transfer case rebuild - SE Qld area.

Post by brooksy »

I have a Hilux Xfer case that I was doing for a customer with 4.7 reductions. It was a custom order threw Marlin Crawlers with the planatry cluster replaced & top shift kit with the reductionbox.
It is chain driven G52 ??? out of a manual '02 diesel Hilux.
Everything was fine until I noticed 2 little flat belt gear type pieces that must be held in buy a circlip either side of the gear which is situated between the 2 selector sliding gears. I am not prepared to guess the arrangement as I am NOT clude up on this box so a recommended repairer in the SE Qld area to do the job properly would be great.

thanks,
brooksy

not a certified repairer or anything, but have you considered giving buddy a look, he put my duals togeather, gear driven behind g52 box. just an idea, might save you some cash.
Many thanks to Buds Customs, for all their ongoing support

Different kettle of fish when you have to pull these apart but have considered giving Buddy a call to see if he has played with one before which normally people don't.

I'll give them a call Rhett, forgot about them

Give custom transmissions at Geebung a try. They did a good job on my 84% reduction gears in my gu.

Are you talking about the synchro keys? There should be 3 of them per hub.
