Swapping Gq cluster for the better one with oil pres&voltage

Post by CAMOMQ »

Just wondering how to go about putting a dash cluster out of the higher model Gq patrol with oil pressure and battery voltage into a diesel Gq that only has cluster with fuel and temp gauges ? Anyone done this what's involved or can the original plugs be used with the new cluster ?
CAMOMQ , worked 308 straight gas,runnin 33" m/t,1 3/4" bodylift,full gq panel conversion/front end,custom front bar with 4spotties,gloss black paint,custom tube tray

The service manual indicates there was a change (across all spec levels) some time in 1991.
Post 91 has 2 extra connections in the centre connector (of three).
So if you currently have a pre 91, get a higher spec pre 91.
If you currently have a post 91, get a higher spec post 91.
