Rear diff FZJ75 1996 rear disc - compatible diffs??

Post by Stackson45 »

Howdy,

I've recently sheared the axle studs on the drivers side, the axle starting coming out while driving, and has worn a groove into the axle, and more than likely may have worn the stub axle.

So i need a DS axle, the hub i can replace the studs and get the dowels machined out one size bigger, and (i'll know when i pull it apart) possibly the DS stub axle.

Being rear disc, what parts of other models- either older 75/40's, or maybe 80 rears are compatible with mine?

Cheers,
Rob

Also would someone have the axle lengths for the short side axle for 60's and 40's? i can then measure mine / check spline count and have a better idea what to look for.

Any info would be great.

Cheers,
Rob
