Hilux gettin warm

Done a oil change on my 3 litre non turbo lux last week, took it for a run on Saturday,temp gauge went up higher than normal , when I stooped it and idled, it went back to normal.Any Ideas???

Could be a sticking thermostat.

Is it the correct viscosity oil ? could be a few other things did you only do the oil change and thats all??
plenty of parts on the bench
