Toyota cable driven diff lock info

Post by GUJohnno »

I've picked p a 60 series Landcruiser that had the factory cable driven diff locks retro fitted to it.

Just curious to what models came out with these diff locks?

Cheers,
Johnno.

They were fitted as a factory option onto the 60 series.

probably an opion on the G pack and higher specs. Not many australian delivered trucks have it. Most are the VX model jap imports, and the saharas. Some rich people who buy top spec get all the options thinking it will help with depreciation.

Curious to the year range that the cable operated diff locks were available.
I assume it changed from the cable setup when they offered it on the 80 series Landcruiser's.
