Are #J75 Ute windscreen frames the same from '85-'97??

Post by dogbreath_48 »

As above, was there any variance in the windscreen frames of the Utes over their lifetime? I wouldn't have thought so but Toyota lists a few different part numbers over the years, some of which are unavailable (I've found it's not uncommon for identical toyota parts to have different numbers).

I have ordered one listed for a later model for my HJ75 - should have asked specifically which model it was for.

Out of curiosity - they also had windscreen surrounds listed for troopies...are these weld in repair sections?

Any thoughts much appreciated,

-Stu :)

Differences would be if they had snorkel mounts or not, you sure its the steel surround your ordered not the rubber seal? How much for one? I'm not sure weather to repair or replace yet.

Yep definetly the frame, there was also the option of snorkel on top of the year model range.
