had the same problem after my body lift think it has to do with the eng fan moving away from the radiator. i got a custom shroud and 2 thermos on now and its gud.

Might be just a coincedence. Radiators dont take much to block. So I would start with pulling the radiator out and giving it a good flush. Both inside and thru the core.

With the body lift it does take the radiator away from the best line up with the fan. So another fix is to redo the mounts and lower it the same amount as the body lift.

i thought the same with my TB42 when i did a BL, it was actually dead rad, died at the same time. I did a total cooling system overhaul which included pump. clutch fan and blades, 3 core rad brand new and thermostat from Nissan. after all that even on the hottest day on stockton it never broke 1/4 temp and i mean i flogged it and it was a gas setup aswell

Ihadheating problems with my TD42 and then the radiator blew, so the only one i could get overnight freight was a 2 core, it keeps my engine cooler than the other one did but not by much and it still gets right up hot when hauling up a hill empty with the air con on at around a 36 degree day. I got a new fan hub at the same time also.

I will eventually replace it with a 3 core and see how that goes.
