83 Hilux replace motor

hey guys i just bought an 83 hilux diesel 2.4l it goes but is tired as hell just wondering what motors i can put in it preferably bolt straight in sorts without too much hassle it has a 5 speed box will a 2.8 or 3.0l fit straight in???

2.8 should afaik but dont quote me on that.

that might be the go will a 3lt turbo engine fit aswell

A 3L or 5L will fit straight in.

No unless you turbo a 5L , the factory 3ltr turbo is a 1Kz-te and won't bolt in from what Ive heard but i could be wrong
if it ain't broke send it to me i'll fix it!
