You will have to change the front mount and possibly the back depending on your shackle length and what size tyres you want to use.
If you move it too far forwards so you dont have to move the back mount the tyre will hit if its a dual cab.
How far the axle moves back or forwards will depend on how far you move the mounts.
I move both mounts so i could run 40's on a dual cab lux without hitting.

have you taken the time to 'tune' your leaves to do what you want them to do?? standard ifs leaves will not give great results if you just chuck em in. the ammount of thaught and work you put in is relative to the results you get. i know after playing with mine they worked really well, and i have seen trucks who have just chucked them in and they are hardly an improvement. and if your going to the trouble of moving the mounts, why not get custom leaves and save some money for better results

i have moved my shackle mount already to suit the ifs leaves im having dramas due to the fact im running 150mm shackles at about 40 degree's so i have no height out of them so i have packed in springs i think i have 10 in there also a 1 inch block as the rear of the car sat 4 inches to low and with the tub on it you cant miss it so im now going to bite the bullet and get some springs and if im buying something might aswell get something that works without alot of playing as im ova playing and want to get it out into the mud if anyone has any other ideas please tell and i dont want a 200mm shackle as i drive it everyday and its to easily seen

thanks steven

4" too low? How high is the front?

You'll find the reason it's not flexing is probably due to the 10 springs you've got packed in there.

Got any pictures of the setup? Might help people give suggestions..

remove excess leaves and lift block, lower the front to the same height, do a body lift if you require the greater body clearance for tires or something.

with enough guard cutting/moving the front diff forward you should get 36's or 37's under a hilux easily, so i dont see why you need it so high up ..

as a comparison my single cab with aluminium tray, stsndard mounts, and a 200mm shackle. the shackle sat at 45 degrees and it gave me 2 inches of lift, and i had my springs with 3 leaves total yes 3. flexed great and rode soft. take it back to 4 or 5 leaves, and get the spring reset to the height you want. if it is 4 inch lower than you want, get an additional 5 inch curve put in them at your spring shop, as they will settle. should cost less than 300 buchs for the pair.

10 leaves would be as good as a solid bar for a shock.

how high is it? in the front it is about 4 inch i think so its not that high the reason i have alot of springs in the rear pack is to get it higher i know its not going to work i just dont want it looking stupid and driving like crap and i cant really lower the front as it is ruf with droped member the springs have the slightest arch i dont want them completely flat as i want some up travel i dont like the though of loosing spring length because i reset it to cope with the height? i think i would also have to reposition the hanger i like the idea of custom springs just dont know who to talk to and what they are worth

Find your local suspension shop, not just a 4wd retail store. Last year I got rough quotes of around $80-100 for mains, slightly less for load bearers.

my rears were 180 each spring, each spring has 5 leaves each.

easiest would be to re set your current ifs ones, dont worry about the spring length, your not putting massive curve in them.

My 4Runner used to be very similar the back always seemed lower even after putting some Custom packs of IFS leaves together still got no good results and the back sat lower, got some locktup 3'' springs moved the mounts to suit only had small shackles and it sat much closer to level and worked alot better and was better on the street.

Reset springs wont last long till they sag again and locktup springs aren't real expensive...
