80 series rear indicators?

G'day all,

This may seem like an odd question, but can anyone tell me if the indicators in the standard taillights of an 80's should work?
mine don't, i have a full drw system and can't easly remove the panels to look for wires, bulbs etc

Yes.....your indicators should work.

The tailights are held in by 3 screws, 2 from inside the tailgate opening & one in the reverse light

thanks for the help i seen the 3 screws and removed them the tail light didn't want to move so i figured thye were just for the surround once the tail light was removed, and figured that i needed to get to it from the inside,

all sorted there were know bulbs in the blinker sockets,

they may be held in with a fair bit of slicaflex
