Gday all, was looking at spotlights and everyone raves on about lightforce and how good they are, but i noticed that the hella lights are bloody expensive and wondering are they worth the price or not? so what do you guys recommend? Hella, Narva, IPF, Lightforce or Generic Brand
Talking non HID lights

I'm running Britax Xray vision spotties. You'll find them at TJM stores.

what sorta driving is that mate? im usually out on the open road
Re: Spot Lights?
Do you park your car in a high (medium, low, or anywhere outside)-risk areas? If so I would buy generic branded ones.
Whilst brand name ones are good for seeing into the next day I think for the money generics are good enough. I don't do much open-road touring though. My country driving tends to be through hilly areas.

Re: Spot Lights?
I'm running the narva ultima 225 pencil beam lights on my patrol as i needed something that could be side mounted. I'm extremely happy with their performance for open road work. Realy good reach with just the standard 100w bulbs in them.

Re: Spot Lights?
gee ive loved having super-oscars for the last 15 years. Seem to be the only type that make a really nice "driving beam" pattern which has a bit of spread and spot for each reflector. Had a few different lights too, but not lightforce yet.
