I'm looking at using a P38 rear diff in a street machine i'm building.
I need a rear diff with passenger's side drop as I'm using a Patrol transfer on the end of a 6L80E auto that is mounted with the engine behind the transfer.
The engine is an LS3 6.2.

Re: How tough are P38 rear diffs?
Not that strong
I would suggest an 80 series rear, or a dana 60 rear or a custom ford 9" rear
