because mine has lost fifth gear and i really need one please??????

If you "lose" fifth gear I'd say it's potentially the bolt that holds the 5th shift arm has been accidently loosened or left-loose. Look at the following picture:
Is the 5th gear one on yours loose or missing? Can you get it into 5th with the engine off and using the clutch?
Other things might be failed E-ring (internal), jammed 5th/reverse lockout or worse, though these gearboxes take a beating and apart from bearings they generally survive (unless badly built/repaired previously). Is reverse fine?
They are quite easy to rebuild at home, with the aid of the relevant manual ("92Rocky-MT-Manual_Transmission.pdf" on WARFS site), some gasket maker silicon, threadlock you can get it all done within a day or two depending on how technically-able you are (maybe a mate to help).

hi there guy's, i have recently lost 5th in my roza box. doing a search i've come up with this thread. the 5th gear fork holder bolt pointed out in the pic is tight on mine.
umm.. was driving normal from perth to home, slowed down through the gears to turn, back up through the gears to 5th, but there just wasnt any 5th. no noises, no crunching or anything. it goes into the 5th position, but free revs.
i dont think it's going into 5th when the engine is off either, it's like it's just not there.
can undoing the fork holder and moving the gear shift etc. fix this?

I've lost 5th and reverse but it was a bit of a gradual thing. First reverse became difficult to get into then 5th, recently they've become next to impossible. Tried the fork holders but they seemed ok. Since I bought my roza the shift lever's had more play in it than my 7 yr old. I've just pulled the shift lever boot off to have a look and found that where the lever goes into the retainer is rusted to buggery (looks like it hasn't seen lube since '92). When I try for 5th or reverse the stick just fowls against the side of the ball seat. I plan to pull the retainer down on the weekend to get a better look but I'm guessing it'll probably be a trip to the wreckers to try to get a replacement retainer/stick. Looks pretty straight forward but mechanically I'm still on my "L"s (but I'm tryin') so if there's any advice or things to watch out for I'd appreciate the heads up. Thanks.
I'd rather not replace if I don't have to 'cause my local Gold Coast 4b wreckers are way too expensive, eg: wanted $65 for a clutch cable if I pulled it out myself when a brand new 1 was $72 delivered

i'm home on break, so i called my local wreckers this morning as i knew they had a roza box there. fooker wants $770 for it!!!! fook that.
looks like i'll be pulling the one out of the narrow track bush basher/beach hack i bought ages ago that had been rolled.

Mate, I dunno how some of these guys stay in business with the prices they ask, but then if ur over a barrel what can u do? It's always worth a look on ebay, surprising the amount of Feroza bits that turn up as long as ur timing's right and it's not too far away or too heavy. Pity ur in WA, might a been interested in the shift assembly off ur old box .I haven't had a chance to price 1 thru the wreckers here yet but I'm guessin it'd probably be cheaper to get it shipped from WA anyway. My local guys want $120 each corner for F310 guards, if I drive to the other side of Bris I can get 'em for $60

gearbox swap wasnt going too bad until after lunch when i went to put the donor box in. jacked it up into place, slid in a little bit.. wouldnt go. wiggled it, swore, put tailshaft in and turned it, swore more and more wiggling and swearing.
pulled box back out, the freaking shaft where it goes into the spigot bearing is 15mm, 3mm larger than the one i pulled out. WTF!!
didnt even notice the difference, then again i wasnt looking at that.
being a public bloody holiday here today i have to wait until tomorow to get to the bearing shop and get another one. damn it. it some fine weather we have at the moment too. tomorow night is fishing night too, so it better be going again by then!
i could always race back out the block and get the old bearing from the donor car, but i've never liked the idea of using 2nd hand bearings in places that arent easily acceseble.
