IGNITION
was wondering if any has any idea on how to replace the ignition switch in a nf 89 3.0 lt pajero or has a diagrame as i have checked they have 2 bolts but one end is a nut inside the switch unit and the other looks like the have snapped off the head so you can not just undo it and i need to relace the unit any ideas thanks
89 nf pajero, camping and comfort when away always looking for new things and advice, overhead console, 9550lb winch, hot water sytem 80litres on board water tank, in car sat fone,
Re: IGNITION
The tops of the bolts are designed to break off when tightened. It is a theft deterrent. To remove them, use a centre punch and small hammer and tap them around, they should undo easily. You can buy new ones from Mitsubishi, or just use regular bolts.
Re: IGNITION
If ya can get a drill in there, drill the top off the bolts, done this a few times before.
