Edit: looks like they might be the same light.. ones in my link are cheaper tho

Re: LED work lights
$44 each. not much cheaper but all adds up when i was buying 6 of em. Yeah id say they would be good for lighting up a camp site. Im using them as rock lights but might get another for a rear work light.bushytas wrote:How much did you end up paying if you dont mind me asking.joshy wrote:i just got a few of these

Re: LED work lights
I have some similar to these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/4-X-12v-52-CM-WH ... 4985wt_905
but the ones I bought have LEDS at a closer spacing (75LEDs on a 50cm bar)
One will light up a decent size campsite no worries at all, I run them from a small closed cell 7amp/hr battery, it will literaly run one light for days without recharging. I also have two on my bullbar as parking/running lights, they are bright enough to drive at night with only these turned on.

Re: LED work lights
I've got one of those lights on the back of my 80, lights up an area great. For example at one night at our beach house the TV antenna cable had come out of the antenna and i pointed the light up at the antenna on the roof of the house and it lit the area up enough to stand on the roof and fix the antenna.
Definitely recommend them!

Re: LED work lights
I bought one of those for a reverse / camp light, it's very bright and has a good spread - I wouldn't bother getting two as this one throws light almost 180 degrees
Re: LED work lights
i have one of the narva 4 LED work lights, lights up a digger engine bay well enough (4mx3mx2m), and as a reverse light i can see well enough that my neighbours complained that i wake them up when i leave for work (they are nearly 50 metres away).
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
Re: LED work lights
Lol just won two on eBay for 15.50 + postage $18 what a steal I bet this guy won’t put them up on eBay without reserving the price from now onjoshy wrote:i just got a few of these

Re: LED work lights
What about this one? The price is a killer though.
Wonder why it needs a relay since it's only 24W, ie 2A???

Re: LED work lights
a relay is always good practice. It is less than ideal to run a power cable into the cabin, through a switch, and back out to the bullbar or roof. keep the high(2A is enough to cause a fire!) current in the engine bay, and low current switch wiring in the cabin.TheOtherLeft wrote:What about this one? Re: LED work lights
Yes I appreciate it's good to relay things but come on it's 2A. How many OEM loads are greater then 2A in your cabin...pretty much everything.Shadow wrote:a relay is always good practice. BTW I do like the use of relays and have added many in my engine bay but doubt I would for a 2A load.
Re: LED work lights
i sell these worklights and the manufacturer supplys a relay and a switch in the kit so its there mite as well fit it a relay is probally a better set up for 4 extra female blade fittings and about a mintre to fit and mount it
