Petrol/Diesel Need Help
Hey guys need some help im looking at some patrols but most are petrols iv only ever owned diesels whats the go with them are they ok of road, it just iv heard they arnt real good going down hills and water.
Re: Petrol/Diesel Need Help
They are all pretty reliable I have owned a 4.2 and only put points in it. Rb30 turbo and currently own a 4.8 gu. All good if you dont mind putting fuel in it! I have had water over bonnet on 4.2 and rb30 didnt worry them to much.

Re: Petrol/Diesel Need Help
hope you like paying for fuel. the petrols are pretty thirsty. i'm in the process of changing my mav over to a diesel. was getting roughly 19l/100km on the highway, carb model, efi get a little bit better, which is very good (i look after it very well) expecting about 9-11l/100km out of a diesel. petrol's just need a wee bit more revs in the bush than a diesel. but both engines if looked after are extremely reliable
Re: Petrol/Diesel Need Help
