I picked up a wedding photo gig on the Friday, so I probably won't even leave Homebush till close to 11pm at a guess. What time can people get in the gate till over the Friday night? (just spectating this year)

Bump. No reply from the email addy on the TT site.... Would be nice to know!

The ticket info part of the site says tickets work till midnight but that's all I can find.

The gate should be manned all through the Friday night. It has been in past years.

Yeh towed over with a RTV ford ute with the barra 6 cyclinder auto set up it went ok bit thirsty but fine still trying to sell it.Bought a 94 coil cab GQ just fitted a turbo to it with 3 inch exhaust should go just fine.Bought it because just to hard sometimes towing the buggy into the places we camp at when wheeling thought the ute would work fine but just not good enough keep thinking im going to get bogged or ding the sump.

Two weeks time should be in South Oz by now second day on the road.

Found today when makeing big arse stering stops that the knuckle that I had made up was rocking back and forward so after half a day of stuffing around re setting up knuckles with shims found that brand new Longfield was 4mm to long not allowing the knuckle to allow the upper swivel hub bearing to sit in square go figure so out with the trusty 1mm cutting disc all is fine still waiting for axle it shipped 9 days ago from the states cant blame company Im useing god dam shipping companies suck big time .Still more knocked of list might actually make it .

Anyone know when tickets and food vochers will be sent out as we may miss them if they come late next week.

Tuff Truck 2011 Needs Help. http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/viewtopic ... 4&t=221463" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi Guys and Girls

We need approx 25-30 additional helpers for this years Tuff Truck.

Each Tuff Truck Challenge sees an army of keen and eager workers helping out on the behind the scenes stuff. It is a vital aspect of the running of the event.

Jobs that need to be covered include:

• Camp area assistants – directing happy Tuff Truck goers around the property to camping areas - day and night
• Flying Squad man – doing anything that may pop up.

But we aren’t asking you to assist us for free.

You are asked to initially purchase your own entry ticket to the event.

Site Assistants are offered:

• A Cash payment of $150 after you have completed their required shifts. ( which covers your entry refund )
• Certificate of appreciation to both individuals.
• We will give during your shifts – fruit, water, energy bar, chips...

What we need from you:

3 x 4hr shifts. Best to spread these shifts over the 3 days as… the rest of the day is yours to enjoy the event!

If you'd like to be involved further, then give me a call to discuss.

Being a TTC Site Assistant allows you to see what makes Tuff Truck tick, and will give you valuable experience in what it takes to run an event.

Due to Safety and Insurance reasons, only people 18 yrs of age + can help.

To find out more about how you can become a TTC2011 Site Assistant and all that's involved contact me ASAP.

Hi guys,

Is there a timetable for the event yet? couldnt find one on the website.

I wont be able to get up there until mid Friday arvo and I dont want to miss the chance to see the rigs up close at the show and shine or whatever it is called.

Cheers

The Show and Shine/Eng should be happening early afternoon Friday onwards with a gap for briefings and meals etc before the Mud and Night stages start in the evening.

Saturday events will start with the travel ramp at 7.30 am with the stages starting as soon as the teams leave the ramp. The Mud and night stages are again in the evening.

Sunday will be the same proceedure as Sat until the presentation to the winning teams later in the arvo.

See you there

Tony

How unfortunate, I think more words rhyme with Megatwat than Megatwon. :finger:

Wait, am I supposed to stop heckling you since I'm married to your Navi?
