Hi all long time reader but first time poster so please be kind :)

I just grabbed another Patrol for The Missus to use as a shopping trolley. It is a 2000 st with a TB45 on petrol /gas.We took it for a drive this evening and the thing runs like a dog :bad-words: (apologise to all K9 owners). It seems to have a miss at idle which seems to be worse on gas and as this is our third nissan but first petrol (go the mighty TD42T) can anybody help out as to the possible problem. Thanks in advance.

start with the easy stuff like looking for vacuum leaks, could also be ignition leads.

Find which cylinder is missing by pulling spark plug leads one at a time, then swop leads to see if the miss moves with the lead, if it does then replace your leads.
