Based on your user name I'm guessing it's an ifs model, IMO a monotube sch as bilstien will increase the ride and control and result in better cornering and braking
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!

What suspension mods if any?
What sort of terrain and driving?
What sort of budget?
What problems do you have with your current setup?
Why do you need to change, what ate you hoping to achieve by getting new shocks?

I have a 2 inch suspension lift atm, thats all mods suspension wise. I need new ones cause they are old and time to replace it, leaking shit etc
Dont really have anything in mind of what to achieve, max flex out of rear axle as i can, just gotta fuck around with the leafs to give it more down travel first

x2. I have bilstein on one 4x4 and OME on another. There is no comparison - the billies have done over 150k km including the CSR and still work fine.

I have had good results with both Bilstein and Koni shocks in these vehicles.

Have a look at the SRC shocks from Superior Engineering. Pay a bit more but you also get a better shock!

I don't think they make SRCs for the torsion bar front end Hiluxes.

Theyll probably ask you same questions that Grimbo asked.

Work out your answers to his questions, then you can work whar shocks are best for you and your vehicle.

Why do you want people's forum password??? Sounds a bit dodgy.

i would say its so that everyone doesnt just go in and say they are RUFF

but it is still a dodgy way to verify a persons identity.

I think them sending you a PM would be a better solutiuon.

Sorry I should clarify it a bit. (i didnt mean it to read we want your password)
You would be supprised how many people who come in & want forum pricing that arnt a forum member but have herd about it from a mate.& You all know how easy it is to become a FORUM MEMBER
Idont need to know there pass word. the person who needs to save $$$$ on the purchace needs it.
BASICLY if they cant log into whatever forum they say there from they dont get the discount.
It is there secret password that they need to log in to prove there a forum member,
I dont keep passwords as records, just there user name, address or email address for newsletter/sales info & a phone mumber so we can ring them to let them know the things they have ordered has arrived.

I had this bloke that carried on a treat last week.
He came in & had herd about the forum member pricing, so I told him what was requierd to get that pricing (be in a Forum)
at that stage he was only looking, so iwrote down on my card
RRP pricing = $------ or if he was a member, Forum pricing = $------
the following week he came back & wanted to buy at forum pricing, when asked what forum are you a member of,
he replied:- NONE. I dont have a computer,we offered him to hop on the work computer & we could show him how to become a Forum Member to help him out. he than carried on a treat & abused the whole sales team, store & any customer that was in the store at that time as well.

everyone else has been happy with their savings, & there are alot of people that we have shown how to become a Forum member & are now benafetting from the info they get from their Forums as well.

I hope this has clarified this a little

cheers piglet
