hey guys just want to know what engines will fit in a 92 hilux. im looking to do a conversion but not sure in what engine, im steering towards a 5l but not sure if the electronic fuel pump will work. would appreciate some opinions

yes it will work.
just about anything will, the 5L will be at the easier end of the scale and easy to engineer but obviously needs more electrics than the 3L.

Why does it need more electrics then the 3L they are basically the same engine with bigger capacity, still has the mechanical injector pump. The 5L-e will have more wiring because it is EFI
if it ain't broke send it to me i'll fix it!

use the 2.8 pump on the 5L.

just get a 5L (mechanical injection) not a 5L-E (EFI)
if it ain't broke send it to me i'll fix it!
