Hzj 75 flywheel fit into Hzj105 ?

Post by RGN-81 »

I have had to use a HZJ75 series flywheel in my HZJ105 series it is 6 mm narrower then the fly wheel on the 105 but the ring gears are the same . we spaced out the clutch fork pin with 4 x SS washers so that the fork sits out 6 mm further as well , so it shouldn't have changed the fulcrum. can anyone see any Issues with what i have done if so can you clear me up. i have just taken it for a test run and the new Rebuilt gear box changes good but am concerned why the clutch is really light to press (lighter then previous clutch kit) . when pressed all the way to the floor then released it comes up about 20-25mm before it engages., does all this sound right as its my wife's and kids car and i need it to be spot on . ANY serious input would be appreciated.

cheers Mondo
