HJ 47 gearbox and transfer case

Hi,
Does anybody know what 5 speed gearbox fits the 9th month 1982 HJ 47. I just bought one and the second gear does not work while i am driving BUT when stopped will go in. This is a big problem for me as to fix this 4 speed gearbox and transfer case will cost $1650.00 which i havent got. ta ralph 0438648299 :P

ps what long rang tanks works with this truck as longranger only have 80 lt for $1200 fitted. I need more ta

hi any 5speed gearbox that mounts behind a 2h will fit into a hj47 so any from a 60series or 75series 1980-1990

This is correct but it should be pointed out that other mods will be needed depending in what vehicle it's from. Eg, tail/prop shafts, crossmember, handbrake relocation,etc.

Most simple solution is to just put another 4 speed in.
