Now there's a team with an awesome support crew! We were fortunate enough to meet the ladies behind team home brand and they were just lovely. It's been a long time since I've met such nice, down to earth ladies. Was an absolute pleasure sitting with them at the mud run both nights!

Haha we are not all bad. We went up to see Tony on Monday morning about what overall place we came and the people concerned were going at it again, we didn't know where to look so just walked away untill it was over, not good is all i will say.
As for us (Team barney) we had a ball, finished 32nd with a car that has no tricks at all. Great work by all those who had anything to do with organising this event especially the Price boys.
We wanted to run the car as stock as possible this year and have allready started planning mods for next year, cant wait. See you all then.

To the absolute moron competitor, that in his own words, called us " a bunch of f.....g cheating c...s and that we're being paid off", over the engineering/show and shine, hope you enjoyed your last tuff truck, as while we're involved you are not welcome back to the event. For someone question your integrity in how you run things and make decisions, its extremey disappointing when i know 100% that both myself and Tony try as hard as possible to be fair and as honest that we can be. So thanks champ, after spending 3 months organising this event to be given a spray like that, we really appreciate it.D
I'd LOVE to know who that was! That sort of attitude is something we can do without in our sport, and I hope that folks that work as hard as the Price family never cop a spray like that again, it's disgusting. As was another incident where a marshall was physically threatened by a navi. All I can say to that bloke is you are VERY LUCKY that the marshall in question is a patient and decent bloke, otherwise you might have been in for a nasty surprise!
Otherwise, what a top-notch TT! Best ever by a country mile in book, congratulations to all involved on a stellar effort!
I cant wait to see you all (except for those two ass-hats mentioned earlier) next year!
Rick.
That is disgusting we are all there for fun first... Pricey and pricey addressed the show and shine issues we had from last yr and there is no way they are cheats.... Steve and Tony knows most of the competitors cars and what we have in them and if they didnt they looked hard at them... For a competitor to abuse them like that I hope you are never aloud back through the gates of tuff truck.... As for abusing a track marshall there is a time and place if you have a dispute and you were told this at the drivers briefing... That is so frustrating to hear this... ... Name and shame them Pricey
Steve Tony and the crew of tuff truck top job once again...
Matt

I dont know if its such a good idea to name and shame
but the sport needs to move on and consquences for this type of behaviour needs to be kept in check
we all had our problems on the weekend and Tony and Steve sorted it out then and there
there were some asshat security guards there but to abuse a track marshal ?
But to abuse the prices ? WTF are you thinking!!!they pour their hearts and souls into TT every year..
TT would not be what it is from the competitors side of the fence if not for these guys devotion to the event!
Honestly someone should have bitch slapped you for that kind of carry on...
I reckon it,ll be standing room only for the bitch slapping ,stand in line and take a number, The Prices are some of the nicest people I have ever the pleasure of meeting. I want ticket number one
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left !

Well, they deserve what they get. When i sold the idiot the mog,he told me i sold them a bucket of shit and never ever fixed anything on it. so i told them if they didn't smoke so much shit and drove like a normal person and not a stoner the MOG would be a lot better. since them owning the car, i have never seen such a capable car turn into a heap of crap. as for having a go at tony, it was pretty weak, but as we all know, there are always idiots in the world. and the number one would be the runner-mouth boy himself.......

On a lighter note, I just got home last night after a 8500k round trip to TT & back ! Yes I'm sick of driving but it was good times & I
had a ball competing in my 1st TT & I hope it wont be my last .
A big thanks to Tony, Steve & Pete for making us W.A. guys feel welcome & for putting on a great event !
I didnt do as well as I hoped but it was lack of seat time before hand that slowed me down as by sunday arvo I was feeling good & doing better...
So thanks also to navvie Mike & locktup for for keeping me going with a spare coilover!!!
Congrats to the winners & place getters you guys did a great job !!
Hope to do it all again !! cheers team go disco [anyone got any pic's of us??] let me know..

True that.
Sure people need to be accountable for their actions but people also need to be forgiven if they admit to their stuff up. I was in ear shot when T Price was talking to the driver of the team that got pinned for the language to the official and The driver showed complete remorse, apologised and then took the point deduction as the punishment. He was embarrassed about the actions of the Navi but rectified the situation as soon as he could.
The way the the stage manager conducted himself in the allocation for points in that instance was not deemed fair by the team or the Price's and that is where the confusion was. Once this was sorted, later on in the pits, the team was more than happy to relinquish the points for misconduct.
In my books, that's case closed - No need for the outerlimits e-tough guys to weight in their opinions.
As far as the Show/shine engineering - I don't know anything about it so I won't comment
trust "me" ...it wasnt just verbal !!!
the guy should have been thrown off site !!!
it was nothing to do with the driver , it was all the navi !!!
so the driver should not have had to apologise for anything !!!

The driver was not in any way involved in the abuse of Moose, as Moose stated himself. Young Chris and his family were sincerely embarassed by the nav's actions. They were extremely appologetic about the whole incident and accepted the penalties without question.
The penalty was 1, a DNF at the place of the rule infringement.
2, 50 point penalty as per the rules of abusive behavoir.
This resulted in 90 points gained by progressive markers less the 50 penalty. There may have been reverses and other stage penalties but I cannot remember each individual score as I am sure you will all understand.
The Nav was disqualified from further competition. This would have been severe except for the fact that the team had completed their last stage.
The second incident involving a Nav was also investigated and the decision was made to allow the team to continue. While it was seen to be soft, I ask how many others would stand by when a woman was being abused and pushed by a drunken idiot and do nothing. I certainly could't.
Finally, Thanks to all of the Teams for their support over the disgusting outburst I put up with regarding the Show and Shine/ Engineering results.
He also has run his last Tuff Truck.
Now it's time to reflect on what was surely a great comp. To all of the Teams and Stage officials, please accept a huge thanks from myself, Steve and Pete for making it the best Tuff Truck so far.
Lets all look forward to next year. See you in 2012.

all in all a top weekend
You talkin bout this pic???
that'd be them yes freshly rebuilt transfercase grenaded lol lucky we had a spare although it had no crawler gears in it so felt as if we were driving in H4 for the rest of the weekend, made for lots of hi temp's and struggling by the auto trying to make the wheels turn
As everyone else has said a big thanyou to the Prices, without them the weekend having 59 competitors coulda turned into a massive headache
